The parable of the soil is about how the Kingdom of God will be spread. It gives us a picture of the Word of God being delivered to the people. The messenger is the sower; the Word is the seed; and our hearts are the soil. The condition of our hearts determines how and if we receive the Word. The Word is perfect. It does not need to be changed or remarketed or rebranded. It produces fruit on its own. We just need to deliver it.
