Have you ever thought of running for political office? Unsure where to even start, or does the thought both excite and scare you? Today we had Minnesota Representative Brion Curran at our table. She shared her story on how she decided to run for office with no prior political experience and won! Brion is a lifelong Minnesotan with a background in law enforcement and human services. She was recently elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives and serves as the Vice Chair of Minnesota’s first Queer Caucus. Outside of being a legislator, Brion is a big fan of karaoke, the Marvel Universe, and visiting local breweries.
