We are thrilled to have Shawna Rodrigues at our table this week. Shawna Rodrigues is an entrepreneur, podcaster, internationally best-selling author, and consultant. She spent the first two decades of her career in roles ranging from therapist to Director of Programs, always in service of families and communities. Her impact garnered accolades from Boston University in 2013 for her “Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Social Work.” She’s a creative and a proponent of positive change who found the perfect match to her gifts in podcasting.

Shawna is the host of The Grit Show (www.TheGritShow.com); a podcast for the warriors, givers, and doers with a focus on self-care and growth. After learning the abysmal fact that only 27% of weekly podcast hosts are women, she launched a Podcast Network. Her network, Authentic Connection, hosts, edits, and services podcasts to remove barriers so hosts can direct their energy into creating. In 2023 she will launch Best Women’s Podcast; which will provide listeners a spot to find top episodes from their next favorite podcast hosted and founded by women. Shawna’s the city girl-next-door who loves to travel, is a connoisseur of apple cider doughnuts, and loves connecting with her community.
