Jessica Trump joins Naomi and Mandi to tell her story of being raised a conservative, evangelical Christian, feeling trapped in a controlling marriage because of her religion, and how she got out. Jessica now speaks out against the toxic doctrines of the evangelical church and the politics set out to strip away rights from LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities. Jessica is a full-time photographer, interior decorator, social justice activist, and queer TikTok creator who was once a straight, married, conservative, evangelical Christian. Jess lives in northern NY with her two daughters, two dogs, and fiance, where they spend their free time taking down the patriarchy, going on endless adventures, and waiting for the Bills to win the Superbowl.
