Arvind Lalwani: The Juggernaut of MMA in Singapore

August 04, 2015

When it comes to combat sports and martial arts in Singapore, Arvind Lalwani is a local legend. As the founder of one of the cities premier MMA gyms, Juggernaut Fight Club, Arvind has been active in the community since 2006.

When Arvind Lalwani launched Juggernaut FC in 2011, his goal was to launch the most complete training facility possible.

Having recently relaunched the facility at a new, larger location at the start of May, Juggernaut Fight Club is now a one-stop shop for anyone in Singapore looking to get all their martial arts and fitness training in one convenient place.

While Juggernaut FC is the central hub of Arvind Lalwani’s operations, his history and involvement within the martial arts community in Singapore runs very deep.

As a competitor, Arvind has successfully participated in a large variety of disciplines: boxing, wrestling, brazilian jiujitsu and mixed martial arts.

As a trainer, not only is Arvind the head coach at Juggernaut FC, he’s also the coach of the Singapore National Boxing Team.

Finally, as a promoter, he actively runs Gods Fighting Championship, a professional MMA league and its amateur MMA counterpart, Singapore Fighting Championships.

All that being said, it’s pretty safe to say that Arvind Lalwani’s perspective on martial arts in the South East Asian area is one routed in passion, education and experience!

Join us for our milestone 50th podcast episode, as Arvind Lalwani joins us for a wide ranging conversation about the state of MMA in Singapore, his thoughts on the Mayweather / Pacquiao fight, the future of boxing, his potential return to active competition, and the group of incredible fighters and coaches that make Juggernaut Fight Club one of the most unique training facilities in the region!
