26: [Special Exclusive] Maya Angelou and why the caged bird sings

There have been many moments in my travels where I’d stare into the distance to reflect.

One of her quotes would ticker on by in my mind and, suddenly, things started to make sense.

RIP Dr. Maya Angelou and thank you for your words, courage, and strength.

The greatest part about traveling is that it gives you the gift of time.

Time to reflect, think, process, relax.

Here are a small handful of my favorite Maya Angelou quotes that I have thought about along my travels.

Each quote is quite significant for me. Not only are they words on paper but I also have a specific memory behind it.

I’ll be back on the road traveling again! This Saturday I leave for Zagreb, Croatia from LAX and will be out until June 18th.

I’ll be recording podcasts documenting my travels and, hopefully, interviewing people I meet along the way.

So just as a heads up, the next two weeks will most likely be less tips and more stories based.
