During the recent Noreastern storm many motorists were stranded on the highway, literally stuck on limited access highways or just off of them. For those who did not have their cell phones with them or no chargers, what were their options. Well before the prevalence of cell phones, one would say "pay phones." Some millenials may not even know what one is however. |Pay phones used to be on nearly every street of every major city, and they were nearly as common in suburbs and small towns as well. As a result of the prevalence of cells phones "Pay Phones" just don't pay anymore in some cases and have becomethey much less common. But what if you need to make a phone call and you simply didn't bring your phone with you at all, cell towers are down or your phone has run out of charge. | The recent Noreastern Storm Jonas inspired the TechnoGranny to investigate how to find a "pay phone."
