Second Run

Episode 24: Da Moon Rules

November 23, 2015

WHAAAAATTTT??? An episode of Second Run being released in a timely manner?!?! Say it ain't so!
It is so, ladies and germs, and this month, we've got some movie bombs to drop on you. We talk about the failings of Terminator Genisys, Amy Schumer's film career thus far, remaking a Vacation movie with a group of jerks instead of an unwitting family of affable hapless oafs, and Jelli can't remember why he disliked No Escape.
We've also got some good things to say about movies like Shaun the Sheep, and American Ultra, and we try to puzzle out why everyone fawned over Inside Out while we just enjoyed it for 90 minutes.
We also discuss the movie Moon, a spectacular sci-fi drama from 2009 that probably slipped under your radar.

BUT FIRST, Jelli and the Sorce contemplate the ramifications of a world wherein Jurassic Park was released in 2015 instead of 1993 and what social justice warriors and PC police might have to say about the film, and whether the world of Rocky could ever exist and the ramifications of boxing in pop culture if that were the case.
All this and...well, just this, not more, but ALL THIS on Second Run!!!!
