Mark 1:1-3,114-15 proclaims GOOD NEWS, The King who has come into the world to reclaim his Kingdom. The conquering Lion of Judah has come to  stay.

God rules His People and they flourish through the Word of God, however no amount of obedience can atone for the judgement to come, we need Jesus to save us and transform us from the inside-out, in order that we might obey.

God's ultimate purpose and our desire to be bless collide when we see Jesus as out true joy.

The church's central role is to be empowered witnesses to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, to accomplish that role God uses us --as priests -- who will serve and speak on his behalf. SERVE WITH JOY!  

Jesus is the Light of the World: I can see Him, and through Him I can see myself and the world around me.
