God called us out of darkness to live in His marvelous light. In this sermon, we learned what it means to be living as children of light (Ephesians 5:8-14). Firstly, we learned that we are separated for God; we are set apart from the world to proclaim the excellencies of our God through our lives. Secondly, we learned that we are to be sensitive towards God; we are to discern and do things that will please and glorify Jesus. Finally, we learned that we are to live in surrender to God by depending on Him daily. As God’s children, we are called out of darkness to be lights in the world that proclaim His glorious excellencies.
