Ep 437: Amy “Amos” Sharp | Løve Sokker

August 17, 2021

Amy “Amos” Sharp was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She fell in love with skateboarding when she was a little girl through an obsession of Bart Simpson, a McDonald’s skateboarding Kermit the Frog toy, and a McDonald’s skateboarding Garfield toy-proving just how impactful toys can be!    In 2009 she traveled to Norway, and it’s there her curiosity of genealogy work and family history began. The concept of Løve Sokker was born soon after that trip due to a burning desire to combine those passions of skateboarding and family heritage into something impactful. Though Løve Sokker is still a budding startup, the dream of it becoming a worldwide brand, spreading a message of family history and genealogy work to younger generations, remains the driving force.    At nearly 40 years old, Amos still skateboards 3-5 days a week. She is mom to a 15 year old. She loves to sing and play guitar. She is an artist, a snowboarder, a beekeeper, a fly fisher, and is currently earning her college degree.
