* Triangles A first look at Unreal Engine 5 * Unreal Engine 5 is a state-of-the-art real-time engine and editor that features photorealistic rendering, dynamic physics and effects, lifelike animation, robust data translation, and much more—on a open, extensible platform that won't tie you down. * Unreal Engine 5 PS5 demo runs happily on current-gen graphics cards and SSDs * I think that the fact that the demo was running on a PS5 was supposed to be a positive spin or get the Sony fanbase excited about the new hardware. But the new SSD tech on both consoles will help load assets faster, the hardware & chips will get us better framerates, we’ll have raytracing, etc. It is the engine and the photorealistic capabilities that are the important things that we should be talking about. I think SONY fans were just a bit excited to see ANYTHING running or about their new console because not much news has been coming out. 100% agree with this sentiment

* Last of Us Spoilers & open Tweets* Naughty Dog tests new twitter feature to prevent further spread of spoilers It's a feature only available to selected accounts at the moment, but Naughty Dog appears to have made the cut to use it now. It enables users to define who can and cannot reply to a tweet. This can be set to allow everyone to reply, only people you follow, or only people you tag. Selecting the latter and then not mentioning anyone effectively cuts off direct replies.* Previously, anybody could reply to anybody on Twitter (as long as their profile wasn’t private or blocked). 

* Proof that the Terminator foretold the AI uprising… Nvidia’s AI recreates Pac-Man from scratch just by watching it being played 

* Free stuff* Minecraft Dungeons is out on Game Pass today* No Man’s Sky (now that everything has been upgraded and it’s a good game now) is coming to Game Pass in June!* Mafia II and III upgrade - 2K Games is giving free Definitive Edition upgrades to owners of Mafia 2 on Steam and Mafia 3 on all platforms. * Mafia II is one of my favorite all time games. The visual update is nice, just think it could be better….But free is free I guess. This comparison video shows you just how great the game looked so long ago.
