    • Mike: Moana comes to Animal Kingdom starting on April 22nd for a new Meet & Greet! Also, later this summer, Figment will be coming to the Imagination! Pavilion. Lastly, in the fall, Mirabel from Encanto will be greeting guests at Fairytale Garden, which will be transformed into a space reminiscent of la Familia Madrigal.

  • This Day in Disney History for March 20:
    • 1948: Disney’s The Song of the South wins two Oscars
      • Allie Wrubel & Ray Gilbert win for their song “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah,” and actor James Baskett wins an Honorary Award for his heartwarming portrayal of Uncle Remus. This makes Baskett the first black male to ever win an Academy Award and the first actor to win an Oscar for a performance in a Disney feature.
