Since the property bubble and stock market bubble burst in late 1980s, the land of the rising sun has been fighting deflationary pressures for more than two decades. Now they are also staring at loss of competitive edge to South Korea. In April Japanese government announced massive bond buying program to devalue their currency and gain competitive advantage in trade.


After make huge profits by successfully betting against sub-prime mortgages in US during 2005-2007, betting against Greek debt in late 2000s, Kyle Bass has been placing massive bets against Japan.
