Tatyana Kalko wants to soothe your heart and make you cry at the same time with sincere yet irreverent storytelling and uplifting old world melodies, Born in Belarus and currently residing in NYC, she admits to being influenced by the likes of Anton Chekhov, Leonard Cohen and The Beatles.  A classically trained singer and self-taught guitarist and piano player, Tatyana embraces contemporary sounds alongside her rich Slavic and Jewish heritage, performing everything from acoustic folk and electro pop, to jazz standards, French chanson and Russian and Yiddish classics.
