Confessions of a GameDev
Episode 26 - A Discussion About Equality
For Episode 26, we thought we’d try something a little different. Over the past few months throughout the gaming industry, we’ve been addressing the meaning of “equality,” of “privilege,” and what all of this means to those of us who are making games for a living, (or trying to!). This week Spencer, Karratti, Ashley and Christian invite Cindy Huynh, a professor of Gender and Contemporary Studies at the University of Utah, into the studio to talk about these topics and how best to approach them.
Thanks again to our listeners for introducing the discussion on this topic! We love your guys’ questions, suggestions, and just feedback in general, so if you’d like to get in touch with us, go ahead and leave a comment, or you can send us an email at gamedevconfess@gmail.com!
Also, if you’d like to get in touch with Cindy Huynh, she’s mentioned that you can email her at cin.huynh@utah.edu, or give her a call at (801) 581-8094.
