Happy October everybody! No new movie this episode and since the presidential election is just around the corner, we decided to watch a few movies related to elections and campaigns. Some helped us take our minds off of the current state of the world and others were a harsh reminder of how bad things feel sometimes. There's something for everyone! Vote vote vote. THEME MOVIES Speechless (1994) - This one did not live up to its potential. The Manchurian Candidate (2004) - What are you doing, Meryl Streep?? Napoleon Dynamite - Our thoughts on this one make us feel more out of the mainstream than the title character. The Purge: Election Year - Not scary, not particularly thrilling, but still a good time.
