Vegan Living: Stupid Things Vegans Say and How To Veganize Anything

July 03, 2021

“I’m embarrassed sometimes, seriously!”

Making any dish vegan is easy!

Vegan Living Episode

The evidence is clear – A plant-based vegan diet is protective against emerging disease and in some cases can reverse symptoms associated with heart disease, diabetes, etc. The Finding My Psych team is dedicated to promoting emotional wellness, preventative dietary habits, and physical fitness; A well planned plant-based vegan lifestyle checks all these critical boxes.

Sometimes our health focused mission in the media gets overshadowed by loud activist voices and all or nothing agendas. Understandably, we want our audience to understand scientific findings over personal bias, agendas, or dogmatic thinking.

Right at the time when we were having this discussion internally as a team, a listener contacted us, asking that we do an episode on embarrassing things said by vegans. We agreed!

In today’s episode we discuss two eye rolling statements by prominent individuals in the vegan community. While not promoting any disrespect, we felt it was important to separate ourselves from the ridiculous things people say.

Finally, in an effort to shift the conversation to a more proactive conversation, we took this opportunity to discuss the art of veganizing your favourite dishes from childhood. Have you heard of Witches Brew? That stuff is amazing! We provide alternatives to the non-vegan ingredients in the dish as an example of what you can do with the meals you might be missing since going vegan.
