Daniel won a 30 minute mix competition hosted by label Southern Fried Records, which boasts the likes of Armand Van Helden, Fatboy Slim and Soulwax on its roster. This granted him a ticket to Ibiza to DJ at Doorly’s W.A.R. Ship Boat Party and DJ at the W.A.R! Ibiza Rocks Hotel Event that night.

Cafe Mambo DJ Competition Information
Most recently DJ Broadhurst got involved in the Cafe Mambo DJ Competition which has 8 weekly rounds. Daniel won the Third week, the brief for that week was a 30 minute Nu-Disco mix(DJ Daniel Broadhurst - Nu-Disco DJ Competition Entry). This earned him a place in the Semi-Final where the 8 Semi-Finalists had to record a 30 minute mix (DJ Daniel Broadhurst - Semi-Final DJ Competition Entry) of their own style. DJ Broadhurst was chosen as one of the 4 Finalists which was to be held at Cafe Mambo in Ibiza. Finalists would be asked to play a 1 Hour DJ Set & also a 1 Hour Evening mix. The winner would be offered a Cafe Mambo Residency."
