Order of Service: - Prelude - Blest are They D. Haas: Blest are they, the poor in spirit, theirs is the kingdom of God. Blest are they, full of sorrow, they shall be consoled. / All: Rejoice… Blest are they, the lowly ones, they shall inherit the earth. Blest are they who hunger and thirst; they shall have their fill. / All: Rejoice… Blest are they who show mercy, mercy shall be theirs. Blest are they, the pure of heart, they shall see God! All: Rejoice… Blest are they who seek peace; they are the children of God. Blest are they who suffer in faith, the glory of God is theirs. / All: Rejoice… Blest are you who suffer hate, all because of me. Rejoice and be glad, yours is the kingdom; shine for all to see. / All: Rejoice… (twice) - Isaiah 25: 6-9: 6 And in this mountain The Lord of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. 7 And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. 9 And it will be said in that day: “Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” - Devotion - Prayer - Hymn 554 - For All the Saints Who From Their Labors Rest - Blessing - Postlude Service Participants: Prof. Tom Rank (Preacher), Rev.
