As we start this new year, we wanted to thank you for “Answering The Call.” Like New York City’s first responders, you have answered a call to help others– a call to help a widow who relies on the support that she receives from our organization, a call to help a child who may be too young to understand what happened, but knows that his father or mother isn’t coming home anymore. You made this possible. Because of your time, effort, and generosity, we were able to distribute $2.48 million to over 600 families in 2012 and hope to increase that figure in the future.
