October 2006 was a bang-up month on Blubrry. We set records for unique visitors, hits, page views, and bandwidth. In fact, the activity has more than doubled since the site first launched in July.
All we can say is thank you to the podcasters, subscribers, and advertisers who’ve helped to make blubrry a player in the podcasting space. This surge in activity is good news for everyone involved.
- Podcasters are getting more visibility for their shows along with the possibility to earn revenue. (Make sure you fill out that advertising survey!)
- Podcast fans, subscribers, etc. are getting more content choices as new shows hit the community.
- Advertisers can take advantage of an alternative network that covers highly targeted audiences.
And it’s only going to get better. The team is working hard on a number of enhancements and bug fixes that will make the experience even better.
It’s important to note that blubrry is a product of Raw Voice and the community is powered by our own platform. Raw Voice is a bootstrapped startup that is accomplishing amazing things with a small team and minimal financial resources. We’re building something meaningful here. If you’re interested in working with the team or would like to get in on the ground floor by providing funding then drop a line to marketing@blubrry.com to let us know how you’d like to get involved.
Thanks again for helping to make blubrry the podcast community of choice.
