The Burden of Moab; The old enemy of the Jews, finds as in the words of the Chaldee “a cup of malediction” here to drink from. This is a cup and a curse that will come upon Moab. Within three years Isaiah says this will occur.  The evil of men and nations never do exist to the extent they may want it to continue.

The Burden of Moab -Moreover, Evil men and nations are cut off. As David says: “I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and lo, he was not: yea I sought him, but he could not be found -Ps 37: 36-37.”
