Romanesque Paradise in the Pyrénées

The Pyrénéen town of Prades is our headquarters when we visit this part of French Catalonia. It is surrounded by some of the most pure and beautiful examples of Romanesque architecture and sits in the shadow of the great Mont Canigou, the mystic mountai.
Via Lucis is a project to document European Romanesque and Gothic churches. The project includes photography, books, exhibitions, a blog, and custom art prints. PJ Aubrey and Dennis Aubrey have created a library of more than 900 churches and cathedrals.
