Liz Perkins, is the night news editor of the Daily Express. She led the two-year exclusive award-nominated campaign entitled End This Injustice in the Express in support of domestic abuse victims in the Family Court. It led the Government to pledge to overhaul the Family Court through the Domestic Abuse Bill due to her stories highlighting the issues they faced. She also fought for non-fatal strangulation, threats to share intimate images and economic abuse to be criminalised as part of the campaign.
