James is a trainee therapist who was expelled from his university course for holding gender critical views: that sex is biological and immutable. He was expelled over email for launching a public petition trying to safeguard therapy and counselling for vulnerable children with gender dysphoria. James petition subsequently got 10,000 signatures and a response from the government, who agreed to many of the safeguards he had been seeking.
