Featured in TIR Episode 105 (Part 2 of 2 parts): Guitarist-singer-composer Barry Finnerty, who while you may not know him by name if you are a fan of jazz, jazz-funk or blues you have undoubtedly enjoyed his crisp, emotive playing numerous times. Those he has shared his stylings with during the 1970s and 1980s include The Crusaders, The Brecker Brothers, Hubert Laws, Billy Cobham, Taj Mahal and Miles Davis. His experiences are one of the last first-person accounts left to be shared associated with the legendary Crusaders.
Since then in subsequent years he has led several terrific recording and performance projects of his own, and has developed a particularly strong following overseas.
