When things are uncertain, our natural tendency is to float to whatever is feels easy and comfortable for us. For some, we turn to comforts like food and netflix. For others, we chase things we know may not be good for us, but it gives us certainty. And for some, we turn to things that damage us and lead us down a path we never wanted to take. But for the Christian, the one place or better yet, the one person we should turn to is Jesus. Drawing near to God helps put the ambiguity of the season in proper prospective and keeps our hearts and mind filled with the promises of God instead the weight of this world.
