Episode 185 Samantha Ciaccia on a Medical Career in NYC during COVID-19 as a Successful Trainer
First of all, if you are in the fitness industry or are a passionate fitness enthusiast, go follow Sam on IG @sciaccia . She provides quality content and sets an amazing example for anyone looking for one in this space.
Here’s Samantha’s Bio to help you get to know her:
“As an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, I’m on the front line treating patients who suffer from the complications of living unhealthy lifestyles. Having worked in hospitals stateside and in remote areas overseas, I view health and fitness from a humanitarian mindset, working preventatively to improve clients’ future outcomes. In addition to my passion for health, fitness has been a part of my life since childhood. My dad was an olympic weight lifter and kept fitness alive in the household daily. Following in his athletic footsteps, I played lacrosse at Temple University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Upon graduating, I obtained a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
I am now a personal trainer based out of New York City, working to bridge the gap between medicine and fitness. I am offering education for those who are interested in learning about their bodies, improving their sport performance and improving their quality of life. Feel free to reach out!”
