Episode 6 - Joanna Cardenas of Latinx in Publishing
As an editor, Joanna Cardenas has helped bring some wonderful books to the world, including The First Rule of Punk by Celia C. Pérez and The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora by Pablo Cartaya. Now she’s part of two exciting projects — Penguin’s new Kokila imprint, which is adding much needed diversity to bookshelves, and Latinx in Publishing, a collection of editors, agents and other book professionals working to bring much needed diversity to the publishing industry.
Joanna is part of a new generation that is bringing real change to the publishing world, and she has some wonderful advice for everyone who seeks to Disrupt their own fields.
