buzzPLAY

September 01, 2021

Hey, ya’ll. Welcome to buzzPLAY by Shay D dropping just released music.

I am Shay, and this is thebuzzr after hours show. Mix tape of newly released independent music. Worldwide coverage started in local music scenes.

Music you choose to hear and not the music you have to hear. Underground independent and unsigned artists have their music heard on this show. The desire? To expand their fan base.

We will hear releases from Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Our track list tonight –

From Canada, rock out of Toronto with Montgomery and acoustic folk by Montreal artist - Mya Luv.

South of the border, United States artist The Meskimo. Indie rock band out of Nashville, Wild Love.

Some soul from Miami artist Scribbles Who.

Across the pond, alt-rock band Call to the Faithful. Liverpool band 22 Oceans. Garage rock band Voodoo Bandits, Isle of Man. Enjoy some psychedelic rock by UK band Daay and a grunge punk kick with Supera Morza.

So pour yourself a glass of wine, open a beer, top up your tea or light a smoke!

Enjoy the show!

Starting the show,Toronto, Canada band Montgomery with “Better Now”. This upcoming garage rock sound put out by the band is (as the band says) powerful evidence that Southern Ontario embraces a more core rock sound.

“Better Now”

Great banger! This band should be on your watch list.

From the Isle of Man, United Kingdom Voodoo Bandits is next with their original single “Chandler”

“Chandler”

Voodoo Bandits are a punchy 4-piece garage rock / surf punk band from the Isle of Man, an island just off the coast of North West England. Tons of radio play including BBC and Surius XM.

And, we will not slow it down! Kicking into gear with Manchester, UK band Supera Morza with their latest drop “Roadkill”.

“Roadkill”

A great release of hate you have for someone or something by screaming along to the words on this track!

Next, an alt-rock Call To The Faithful with “Thieves and Liars”. The band is getting significant radio play. Following July’s anti-establishment punk-rock anthem “Animals” the band are wasting no time returning with the next part of their message.

“Thieves and Liars”

This talented band is in the United Kingdom, Peterborough area.

Sit back and enjoy a bit of psychedelic rock with “Dream Kit” by Daay from London, United Kingdom.

“Dream Kit”

We have all had those strange night time musings. This track helps with the decode.

Leaving the harder rock, we continue with “Drifting” by 22 Oceans.

“Drifting”

22 Oceans is an electronic music project out of Liverpool that merges 80s influenced synthpop electronic music with angelic vocals/harmonies.

Introducing Wild Love out of Nashville, United States with their catchy banger “I Hate That I Need You”. This group is a gem of a find!

“I Hate That I Need You”

Wild Love is one of my favourite new bands on thebuzzr watch list. The band hails from all over the world, from Ireland to Turkey to New York.

Ready for some soul. We hear “Poison” by Scribbles Who next. This Miami, United States band released a solid track with the familiar classic groovy vibe. Enjoy!

“Poison”

Played for the first time on the air, world premier of “Harmonic Heartstrings” by United States artist The Meskimo. No story behind the song, just a deep connection to the peter pan quality of music. Whether you are battling mental health or everyday issues, this helps with your overall outlook on life.

“Harmonic Heartstrings”

One incredible track, once again,
