Karim Morato | Hispanic Homeschooling: Culture and Community | Episode 012
Karim is originally from Guatemala, and her husband is from Bolivia. They started homeschooling in 2008. Two of their children are in college and one is still at home. Karim is a great support to homeschooling parents through so many different avenues. She is an educational consultant with HSLDA, and at HSLDA Karim dedicates her time to upholding Hispanic leaders who support homeschooling and Hispanic parents who wish to educate at home. Through her outreach work, she offers leaders strategic advice and networking to help them reach and serve the homeschooling community. She also speaks nationally and internationally, and her goal is to always encourage homeschooling parents to continue in their journey and enjoy their children.
Karim shares that Hispanic families want their kids to have a good education and be ready for college if they choose to go. They also want to be a part of the bigger homeschool movement. Karim helps connect those families and communities.
