One of the biggest barriers to Evangelism is fear. Many Christians feel anxiety and fear when they are challenged to witness to people they know. However, it is not usually fear of ridicule or persecution. The fear most regularly expressed to me is fear of not knowing what to say.

What exactly IS the gospel? If we are to become messengers of the Gospel, we need to know what it’s all about, we need to be familiar with it, and we need to be constantly reminded of its truth and importance. Today I look at what Paul says about the gospel in Romans 1v1-5 which gives us more of a handle on it.
