Paul’s letter to the Romans is possibly one of the most influential letters in the Bible. From Augustine, through Luther to John Wesley and more besides, many Christians through the centuries have cited Romans as playing a key role in their lives and faith.

Over the coming months, we are going to look at the letter Paul wrote around AD57 to the church in Rome and consider what it is saying to us, today.

This week Julian kicks off the series and considers Paul’s description of himself:

1. A slave of Christ Jesus.

2. Called to be an apostle 

3. Set apart for the Gospel of God.
