In this weeks episode which is titled Pilgrims with a Purpose. In 1 Peter 2 Peter is telling us that when we become followers of Christ we become pilgrims and strangers in a strange land. The definition for the word pilgrim means that we are just passing through. This world is not our home.
Philippians 3:20 “Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Now, the word stranger means a person who is living in land for long time. He may have a home, but it is not permanent. When we start following Christ we become pilgrims just passing through. As pilgrims or strangers we do have a purpose. In this study we will learn together what that purpose is.
