4 – The incomparable Christ chooses you, part 2
Colossians 1:15-23
Review:

* Who are you?

* “Saints and faithful brothers with an inheritance who are redeemed and forgiven by the will of God, through the gospel of grace heard and understood, by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

* Where are you?

* In Christ, part of His kingdom coming here on earth while we walk filled with Him, strengthened by Him, with a thankful heart as we make our way home to heaven.

* Why Christ?

* Because of Who He IS: the fully bodied image of the eternal God who gets the all the honor because of what He has done: created and sustained the universe that we broke, and reconciled us back to Himself through the cross, so that He might receive all the honor and glory that He rightly deserves.

Why you?
(21) NOT because of you

* Alienated
* Hostile in mind (thinking)
* Doing evil deeds (action)

Why you?

* (22) Because of what He did
* (22) You are a life Changed because of what He did

So what? (23)
How do we live in response to all that Christ has done for us?

* Continue in faith
* Hope in the gospel
* Proclaim Him

Where are you today?

* Have you placed your trust in Christ alone?
* Come or come back to Christ!
* Continue, hope in, and proclaim Him today.
