This week we go back to the roots of the auto industry and speak to an automotive enthusiast Silvio Barbisan. Silvio belongs to the Monaro Car Club and discusses why a person becomes an auto enthusiast and then why particularly a Monaro enthusiast. Silvio talks about what makes a muscle car and how a persons interest can evolve over time.

Silvio tells us about the the ten Holden and Monaro vehicles he owns and some of the vehicles he has previously owned. He talks about why he was so angry when Holden pulled out of Australia and what vehicles he could possibly consider in the future. he discusses the various Monaro’s he has owned especially the HG GTS Monaro.

Silvio also goes into depth on what you need to consider when buying an old car as an enthusiast and how as a young person you can develop your interest as an auto enthusiast.
