When Will You Give Yourself Permission?

[VIDEO & PODCAST] The other day one of my clients said to me, “Lisa, I’m sooo tired! I just want a holiday to Thailand or something”.

But a holiday just wasn’t possible for her at that time.

So I said to her “What would a holiday to Thailand would give you? What would it allow you to do, or feel?”

She paused for a moment and said, “Well I guess it would give me permission to stop. I’m tired Lisa.  I just need a break.”
My heart broke open for her because I’ve been there.
I remember the time I said to my man “I just need a holiday on a tropical beach!”

He looked at me, somewhat puzzled, and pointed outside saying “…Ahhh, and what about the beach on your doorstep?” (We live right on the beach front!)

So I said to my client, “OK, so what else would this holiday in Thailand give you?”

And she replied, “Well, the warmth of the tropics would allow my body to relax.”

I pressed her further.

“What else..?” I asked. “What else would this holiday to Thailand give you?”

And she said, “Just having someone cook for me, and to be able to enjoy delicious nurturing food, and some ‘Me’ time! …I just really want some ‘Me’ time Lisa!”

Sound familiar?!

I think all women can relate to this because we have the capacity to juggle so much..and we do!

And that’s fine, if we’re fabulous at self-care, and deeply in tune with our needs.

…And willing to give ourselves permission to receive what we most need.

But many women are not, and do not.

The reason I’m sharing this with you is because, oftentimes we want something, we really need something, but we set ourselves up NOT to have it.

It’s crazy!
And there’s just ONE word in the way.
PERMISSION.
When you give yourself permission to RECEIVE what you most want and need, then the HOW naturally follows.

Ask yourself now…

What is it YOU need to relax your body?

Is it a long warm bath? Is it to put your favourite music on and dance your body into pleasure?

What is it that YOU need to feel deeply nurtured?

What are the creative ways you could deeply nurture yourself now, rather than waiting for a holiday to Thailand?
Maybe you could arrange with a girlfriend to cook for each other? One night you cook for her, the next she cooks for you?

There are countless creative ways you can give yourself what you need, but the question is, are you WILLING to give yourself PERMISSION to receive it?

So I’m inviting you today.

No.

I’m begging you.
Give yourself permission today, to RECEIVE what you most need in your life right now.
