Deni Carise, Clinical Psychologist, is helping us make sense of the opioid crisis, and why so many adults are finding themselves addicted to prescription painkillers. 

Dr. Carise is the Chief Scientific Officer of Recovery Centers of America (RCA).  RCA is dedicated to creating neighborhood-based treatment and recovery campuses that include detoxification, residential and outpatient services. Dr Carise is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine. She is also a contributor at The Huffington Post.
