Season 3 Episode 2 - My guest is Angel Villalobos Rodríguez, Ambassador of Mexico to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, and former Undersecretary of International Trade Negotiations and Director General of Foreign Investment at the Ministry of Economy in Mexico.

In our conversation, Amb. Villalobos talks about growing up in Aguascalientes and moving to Nuevo Leon at an early age. He delves into what it is to have a large family and how he got into Economics and then teaching. Amb. Villalobos traces his journey through Northwestern University, into the private sector, and then jumping to the public sector, where he has found the calling of public service. Ángel tells us about what he views as his most significant accomplishment during his time as Undersecretary. From there, we pretty much go over his thoughts on some of the latest developments and challenges facing the WTO and the prospects of progress in the near future.
