Season 3 Episode 1 - My guest is Edward Kwakwa, Assistant Director General at WIPO. This is the first episode of our third season. The second season did not go as planned, and I ended up recording very few episodes. That is something that I really want to fix this season.

To kickstart it, I am honored to host Edward Kwakwa. We have been meaning to have this conversation for some time now, and I am delighted we finally managed to sit down and talk. Edward has had a pretty International life, born in Ghana and then traveling to Canada and the US to study. He worked in a US law firm for some time and eventually made his way to Geneva. In Geneva, he was supposed to be here for one year but ended up staying for good. He has worked in many organizations in his professional experience, including the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Trade Organization.

In our conversation, he explains the role of WIPO and delves a bit into his new portfolio, which includes many global challenges such as climate change and global health. All in all, it was a fascinating and informative conversation that flew by!
