Episode 52: 40 Days Of Fox And Frauds

September 27, 2019

Lizz is back and just in time because this week’s episode covers how the state Department and The Dept of Health and Human Services are teaming up with the world’s top oppressors to create an international he-man woman haters club.

Oh, and if you didn’t hear that story ANYWHERE in the media, there’s a reason, and fuck them. All of that, plus Moji and Marie will try and stump Lizz with “6 Degrees of Abortion”

MEATY STORY 1.

Fox controlling the abortion dialogue

https://www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/other-networks-are-letting-fox-news-poison-abortion-related-coverage-dangerous-lies

-Fox leads the conversation in the media. They talk about abortion significantly more and their perspectives and talking points inform talking points on other networks, even networks with a less biased perspective. Consequently, when other networks talk about abortion ther are often spreading the same kind of misinformation, or references to Fox-lead talking points.

For example:

In discussions about abortion funding rules across the three networks [Fox News, MSNBC and CNN], 67% of statements were inaccurate. Once again, Fox News discussed the topic the most, with 124 statements -- 87 of which were inaccurate (70%). There were two total statements about abortion funding rules made on MSNBC, one of which was inaccurate (50%). CNN aired nine statements about abortion funding rules and seven were accurate (78% accurate, 22% inaccurate).
