There is a scary trend in children’s dance. My guest today pulls back the curtain on the dangers of the increasingly sexualization of children through dance at younger and younger ages. In 2016, Mary Bawden founded DA:NCE (Dance Awareness: No Child Exploited) to create awareness and influence cultural change to protect children from exploitation in dance.
