055: Business Is an Opportunity to Be Creative with Kerryn Moscicki

August 29, 2019

Today I’m joined by Kerryn Moscicki, who left the corporate world of fashion to pursue creative freedom and independence. While building her brand, she learned to let go of the notion that things in business “should” look a certain way, or adhere to a certain timeline. Now Kerryn holds her vision a little lighter, appreciating the natural momentum of her business as it continues to evolve and unfold. While she sees the brand as an extension of her creative self, she also makes a thoughtful distinction; our business is not our identity. Kerryn shares what she’s learned about shedding ego, shifting into neutral, and allowing her business to grow organically.

Kerryn is the Founder and Brand Director of Melbourne based footwear & accessories brand Radical Yes! Established in 2013, the brand represents a coming-together of Kerryn's many years of experience spent in the fashion industry in roles as diverse as Product Developer, Strategy Planner and Content Creator. Best known for their 'flat shoe liberation' philosophy, Radical Yes! is approached as a creative project that explores and presents themes close to Kerryn's heart set largely by the context of her Yoga and writing practice. Kerryn has been developing product offshore for over 15 years with a focus on footwear and sunglasses and is a firm believer that creativity will set you free.
