046: How to Improve Decision Making in Business with Neil Scott Johnson

June 27, 2019

In today’s conversation, I speak with Neil Scott Johnson, who describes his previous state-of-mind as often being agitated, frustrated and rushed. He found himself constantly seeking control over outcomes, and this reactivity and lack of presence were causing a strain on both his work and home life. Once he began to see the role that thought was playing, something shifted within him. With this new understanding, Neil is able to make higher-quality, more sustainable decisions, and have connected conversations from the place of a calm, clear headspace. He speaks to how this has changed his relationships, leadership style, and overall quality of life.

In 2008, Neil Scott Johnson set up an Events Catering and Cook school from scratch, after 20 years of corporate life in the property sector. Having seen the light and exited the hospitality industry, he is now the co-founder of Bravo Whisky Golf, a boutique travel company based in Scotland. He is married to Lisa, a CrossFit instructor, and has 2 boys aged 7 and 10.
