Don, a native of Paso Robles, grew up immersed in the wine culture thanks to his uncle, a history in high end restaurants, and has become a titan in winemaking locally. After honing his skills at the renowned Saxum Vineyards, Don and his wife Claudia established Turtle Rock Vineyards, focusing on sustainable practices and Rhone varietals. Their wines have garnered critical acclaim, with several scoring between 95 to even 100 points!
