Today we got John Couch, a name synonymous with innovation and leadership in the tech world. As Apple's 54th employee, John was instrumental in developing the first commercial computer with a graphical user interface and mouse. His influence extends beyond technology—he's an acclaimed author, with books like ‘Rewiring Education’, and ‘My Life at Apple: And the Steve I Knew’. John has also made his mark in the film industry as an executive producer of Sound of Freedom. A few years ago, John moved to San Luis Obispo, where he’s channeling his passion for education, the arts, and community development. He even played a key role in bringing Jewel to perform locally a month ago! He also has Couch Family Wines, with a tasting room downtown SLO.
