What’s up everyone and Merry Christmas from Project Mayhem! Hope you’re having a good one! In this episode, we’ve got new music for you from GTA, Live City and Pryda. Our guest mix comes to you from Bryan Chang featuring a nice blend of some classic progressive house and breaks.

5 Questions with Bryan Chang

1.  How would you describe your musical style?

Anything with a groovy bass line or funky beat. I lurve me some booty shakin music. Breaks, Drum & Bass, Deep House are my go to genres.

2.  Who are your favorite DJs or biggest influences?

Right now I’m really into Stanton Warriors. They are great producers/remixers. I always get an uncontrollable urge to dance whenever I hear one of their tracks.

My favorite DJ is a guy based on the east coast named DJ Endo. His mixes and track selection are so clean and well thought out. When he’s not DJing, he’s tour managing for big names like Carl Cox and Pete Tong or teaching Traktor to up and coming DJs through Dubspot.

Also, The Crystal Method will always hold a special place in my heart. Their album Tweekend opened my eyes to electronic music.

3.  Best show you’ve attended?

Future Sound of Breaks 2013 in Miami

4.  Number one song right now?

Wankelmut & Emma-Louise – My Head is a Jungle (Gui Boratto remix)

That intro kick and snare is clearly reminiscent of Billie Jean. The entire track is so smooth and has a great live performance kind of sound. So sexy!

5.  What would be on your fantasy rider?

A Roland TD-20 Drum kit programmed with the industrial percussion sounds on Nine Inch Nails’ Pretty Hate Machine and all of the things the fox says – oh, and one left sock.
