Apply to be listed on Spotify

February 09, 2016

RawVoice / Blubrry recently partnered with Spotify to create a new avenue for podcasts to be considered for inclusion on Spotify. We recognized there are a large number of podcasters who would like to be on Spotify platform; our goal is to provide a way for podcasters to submit their shows.

We are encouraging all podcasters to apply to be listed, not just our paid customers. On a first-come, first-served basis we will submit shows to Spotify for consideration. The process is not complicated. If you do not have a Blubrry.com account already, you can create an account and claim your show on Blubrry. Claiming your show is as simple as clicking the "more info" button on your listing on the Blubrry directory.

For podcasters that already have a user account on Blubrry.com, click here to "Get On Spotify" application.

Once you have filled out and submitted your application, the Blubrry team will review the application, sample your audio for sound quality, review your content and then submit your show to Spotify for consideration. Shows with copyright music will undergo heavy scrutiny to determine if any of your music is under RIAA, ASCAP, SEASAC, BMI licensing.

It should be noted that we are not the decision-makers on whether your show is included or not -- acceptance is determined by the Spotify team. We cannot respond to inquiries about the status of a submitted show and we will not be able to be arbitrator if your show is declined.

Since 2005, Blubrry has been looking for new ways to advance our podcasters' shows and interests, and evolving the industry. Check out the Get on Spotify application here.
