He holds a 546-440-1 career record and is 303-238-1 overall record at Ohio State. Beals has guided the Buckeyes to three NCAA Regional appearances in the last five years and has led the Scarlet and Gray to two Big Ten Tournament titles (2016 and 2019). The Ohio State University Board of Trustees approved a three-year contract extension for Beals that will keep him in the dugout as head coach of the Buckeyes four more seasons and at least through the 2023 baseball season.
